Food has power, y'all! It has power over us, our husbands, even over our own wills if we let the beast get the best of us! Kingdoms have been fought over, risen, and fallen over just one bowl of stew! I have been following Deb & Alex Perelman in the Smitten Kitchen, and let me tell you, this couple in their tiny kitchen, have produced amazing things!

I've recently discovered in myself what appears to be a gluten "sensitivity" if you will, and was delighted to know that the humble potato, has none of this offender! (whew...love potatoes!)
